A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Ossining Girls Basketball Team Heads To State Semifinals OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining High School girls basketball team just keeps winning. The girls defeated Horseheads High School 74-51 in the Section 1 Class AA regional final in Poughkeepsie on Friday. It was the fourth consecutive regional title for the Ossining girls. Shadeen Samuels led the girls with 26 points. "She was outstanding," coach Dan Ricci said. Ricci also praised Stephanie Svoboda who scored 17 of her 18 points in the 2nd half. Ex-Briarcliff Resident Taylor Coon Runs Boston Marathon For Good Cause BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Massachusetts Eye and Ear helped saved the life of former Briacliff resident Taylor Coon's father, and now she's returning the favor. Coon is running the Boston Marathon in April to raise money for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, which treated her father when he was diagnosed with ocular melanoma 12 years ago. "He's still happy and healthy," Coon said.
