Here's Where NYers Can Snag Free Cup Of Joe This 'National Coffee Day'
Java heads won’t want to miss this giveaway.
In honor of National Coffee Day, New York convenience store chain Stewart’s Shops will hand out free cups of Joe at all locations on Friday, Sept. 29, the company announced.
Customers can enjoy any size hot, iced, or cold brew coffee with any flavor, on the house, from noon to close.
“When we say free, we mean free!” the company said in a press release. “There’s no additional purchase necessary to receive your free coffee. We make it easy, with no strings attached.”

Target To Close Stores In 4 States, Including NY, Citing Theft, Organized Retail Crime
Citing incidents involving violence and theft, Target announced it is closing nine stores in four states, including one in New York.
The New York store is in Manhattan, at 517 E 117th St.
Three other stores are in California, in the San Francisco/Oakland market, and three in Oregon, in Portland.
The other two stores are in Seattle, Washington.

Popular bakery-café chain Panera Bread will hold a grand opening for its newest location, located in Deer Park at 403 Commack Road, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, the company announced.
It won’t be the first Panera in town, as the restaurant was previously located at 1258 Deer Park Avenue, roughly two miles away.

Cuban Eddie's is growing.
The Cuban restaurant located in Dumont and River Vale is bringing new digs to Paramus Park Mall, its website says.
The eatery is owned by Eddie Sanchez, a first-generation American whose parents hail from Santa Clara, Cuba, its website says.

Supermarket chain Stop & Shop will host a one-day career fair to fill hundreds of open positions at its Connecticut stores on Saturday, Sept. 23.
On-the-spot interviews will be held at 34 locations across Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties for permanent, part-time store and e-commerce positions, the company announced.
Pay starts at $15 an hour, including union positions in the bakery, deli, grocery, seafood, produce, and pharmacy departments.
