On Wednesday, Beylka Krupp, owner of Wobble Cafe, at 21 Campwoods Road, was honored with a $10,000 check by General Mills Foodservice for being a finalist in the Neighborhood to Nation for her shrimp etoufee over cornbread recipe. Small published 56 romance novels. Her writing career began at St. Mary's, a school for girls run by nuns, in Peekskill according to the Times, where she found out one of her teachers had been one of her favorite authors. Firefighters Battle Peekskill Blaze That Displaces 13 PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Firefighters are still at the scene of a structure fire that occurred at 209 South Division Street Wednesday night. The fire ripped through several apartments, according to Sgt. Sam Kenan of the Peekskill Police Department. The building and an adjacent building were evacuated and no injuries were reported, according to Kenan. Peekskill Girls Fall In Class A Championship PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill High School's varsity girls basketball team came just short of a gold ball. The Lady Red Devils lost to Albertus Magnus 56-49 in the Section 1 Class A final at the Westchester County Center in White Plains in a tight contest Monday. The Lady Red Devils were the two-time defending champions in Class A. Lanay Rodney was named to the all tournament team.
