Former Mrs. Westchester Pleads Guilty To Stealing Money MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- Jennifer Czarniecki, a Mohegan Lake resident who was crowned Mrs. Westchester in 2014, pleaded guilty to stealing money from a group home in Granite Springs where she worked Wednesday. Czarniecki, 31, agreed to pay back $8,200 to Living Resources, according to News12.  At Living Resources, Czarniecki was residential head manager. Costco Gets Go-Ahead In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Planning Board has given its final approvals to Costco.  The planning board voted unanimously on Monday to approve the wholesale club's $60 million plans in Yorktown. Woman Rescued On Breakneck Ridge PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old hiker had to be rescued by firefighters after falling while hiking Breakneck Ridge Sunday. The woman was hiking at about 4:50 p.m., when she slipped on a rock and fell, injuring her back, according to LoHud.  According to Cold Spring Fire Chief Joshua Dinardo, firefighters had to use ropes to lower her down the trail due to the steep and rocky terrain. The rescue took about two hours.
