Sinkhole Closes Marble Avenue In Pleasantville PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Village officials said they expect Marble Avenue to be closed for several days following a major water main break that created a sinkhole. Water pressure has been restored in most places but Village Administrator Patty Dwyer said the intersection of Marble and Castleton Street has been badly undermined. Westchester Man Killed In Route 9 Crash ID'd CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Richard Zeoli, a 58-year-old Montrose resident, was identified as the victim in a one-car accident in Croton-on-Hudson early Thursday morning, according to Detective Sgt. John Nikotopolis of the Croton Police Department. Zeoli's car went down a ravine and struck a tree at the Croton Point Avenue exit on Route 9. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Nikotopolis said. Police are still investigating the accident.  Zeoli was a resident of Coachlight Square in Montrose.
