Westchester Teen Faces Charges After Driving BMW Into Duck Pond CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- An Ossining teenager was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, a violation, after losing control on Bungalow Road and driving his BMW into Duck Pond in Croton Wednesday afternoon. Elijah Parker, 18, was able to escape the car unharmed. The vehicle was fully submerged in the pond by the time first responders arrived, according to the Croton Fire Department. Peekskill Man Charged In Murder Of 22-Year-Old PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Janeil Myke, a 24-year-old Peekskill resident, has been arrested and charged in the murder of 22-year-old Stephen Agosto, also of Peekskill, which occurred in Peekskill Sunday night, police said. Myke was charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting Agosto multiple times on the 1400 block of Park Street. Suspended Briarcliff Police Chief Retires BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff Manor Police Chief who was recently suspended has retired from the police force. Police Chief Norman Campion's retirement is effective on Dec. 31. Lt. Donald Gorey, who had been acting police chief during Campion's suspension will become the provisional police chief on Jan. 1. Campion was suspended on Nov. 18 after the village decided to pursue disciplinary charges against him in August. Metro-North Trains Skipping Ossining Following Hazmat Spill OSSINING, N.Y. -- Metro-North Trains are not stopping at the Ossining train station following a Monday afternoon hazmat spill at an industrial site near the station. Trains are still traveling through Ossining, but are going by at a reduced speed. Customers wishing to go to Ossining should get off at Croton and transfer buses that will take them to Ossining. Ferry service to Haverstraw has been cancelled. Passengers going to Haverstraw should get off at Tarrytown and transfer to buses that will take them over the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Metro-North Hudson Line Service Suspended In Northern Westchester OSSINING, N.Y. -- A hazmat spill near the Ossining train station has caused Metro-North to suspend service between Ossining and Philipse Manor Monday afternoon. According to Meredith Daniels, an MTA spokeswoman, the hazmat spill occurred off of MTA property. She did not know how long service will be suspended. Trains are currently not permitted to stop at Ossining. Ossining customers should use another Hudson Line station for train service. Peekskill Homicide Victim, 22, Identified PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill Police have identified the victim in Sunday's fatal shooting as Stephen Agosto, a 22-year-old Peekskill resident. Agosto was shot and killed Sunday night at 10:20 p.m. on the 1400 block of Park Street. He was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Chief Eric Johansen stated that detectives were following several leads in their attempt to identify and apprehend the shooter. Peekskill Police were assisted by officers from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety K9 Division.
