Susan T. De Paola, 96, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – Susan T. De Paola, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died on Friday, May 13. She was 96.
De Paola was born in Yonkers on March 10, 1920, to Edward and Nancy Serena Tirone.
She graduated from the High School of Commerce in Yonlers.
De Paola is survived by two children, Nicholas E. Minichetti of Cortlandt Manor, Nancy A. Minichetti of Mount Kisco, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother Daniel, sister Jean Gruppuso, brother Richard Tirone, first husband ,John Minichetti and second husband, Louis De Paola.

Domestic Violence Arrest Leads Ramapo Police Blotter
RAMAPO, N.Y. – A domestic violence arrest was the main incident on Monday's police blotter.
Officers arrested a 40-year old man from Spring Valley after investigating the reported incident, and he was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and choking.
His victim, a 28-year old woman from Pearl River, was treated for her injuries and released.
Along with the domestic incident, there were eight traffic accidents, nine medical emergencies, 14 alarm activations and seven other arrests.
