David Campbell Ross, 96, Of Greenwich
GREENWICH, Conn. – David Campbell Ross, of Greenwich and formerly of Tucson, Ariz., died on Tuesday, May 24. He was 96.
Ross was born in Columbia, Mo., to Pontus Henry and Bertha Campbell Ross.
He served in the Navy during World War II and earning a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona after his service.
He retired from General Electric as an international technology licensing specialist.

Carol A. Moran, 93, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – Carol A. Moran, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Wednesday, May 25, at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle. She was 93.
Moran was born June 29, 1922, to Henry and Josephine Harney Twitchell. She graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School and Gorton High School.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Edward; a sister, Doris Carpenick; a brother, Harry Twitchell; and a daughter-in-law, Margaret Harney.
Moran is survived by her son, Edward Jr.; a daughter, Margaret of New York City; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Natalie Barney, 85, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Natalie Barney, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, May 25. She was 85.
Barney was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 3, 1931 to Julius and Shirley Paige.
She owned and operated an employment agency and a restaurant.
Barney was predeceased by her parents and husband Kent.
She is survived by four children and their spouses, Marty and Darlene Teller, Elaine and Juda Chetrit, Stuart and Luanne Teller and Jeff Teller and Aaron Ahamed, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister Mona Lefkowitz and many nieces and nephews.

Anita Linser Holmes, 99, Of Mamaroneck
MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Anita Holmes, of Mamaroneck, died on Thursday, May 26. She was 99.
Holmes was born in the Bronx on March 27, 1917, to August H. and Caroline Schmidt Linser.
She grew up in Bronxville and graduated from Barnard School for Girls in Manhattan and Tufts University.
She worked as a market analyst for the Benton and Bowles firm in Manhattan, and opened a music store in Mamaroneck that grew to include books called The Village Shop.
Holmes was predeceased by her husband William, and sister Elsie Romanello.

Edward Vincent Milewski, 90, Of Trumbull
TRUMBULL, Conn. – Edward Vincent Milewski, a longtime Trumbull resident, died on May 25 at home. He was 90.
Milewski was born in Bridgeport, serving in the Navy during World War II and retiring from the Southern Connecticut Gas Company.
He was predeceased by his son Robert, daughter-in-law Cynthia and siblings Vincent, Annette, Josephine and Stanley.
Milewski is survived by his wife Dorothy (nee Roscoe), three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Miriam Niesen, 89, Of Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Miriam Niesen, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, died May 21. She was 89.
Niesen was born Feb. 11, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, to George and Gertrude Levy Weiss, graduating from Poughkeepsie High School and SUNY Cortland with a bachelor's degree in physical education.
She was a social worker and later taught physical education at Poughkeepsie middle and high schools.
Niesen played tennis up until her mid-80s, winning city tournaments in the 1950s.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband Seymour.

William James Guyhto, 74, of Peekskill
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – William James Guyhto, of Peekskill, died on Wednesday, May 18, at the New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. She was 74.
Guyhto was born in Manhattan on July 30, 1941, to William James and Blanche Alexandria (Michael) Guyhto. He graduated from Fordham University and serving in the Air Force for nine years during the Vietnam War.
After his service, he was a lieutenant for the state Department of Corrections in Manhattan.
He is survived by a daughter Gina Greco-Guyhto of Hopewell Junction, sister Toni Roberts.
Guyhto was predeceased by a daughter Ayanna.
