Spree Of Car Break-Ins Reported In Darien Neighborhood DARIEN, Conn. -- Several residents of Thomasina Lane in Darien awoke on Friday morning to find that someone had entered their unlocked cars, according to police. The car burglaries were all reported between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, July 14. The first report came in from a resident who said that sometime overnight, their 2017 Lexus and 2011 Toyota 4Runner were entered. Both cars were left unlocked, and approximately $5 in loose change was taken from each vehicle. Another resident reported that his 2011 Honda Pilot had been left unlocked and entered overnight. Darien Doctor Wanted For Running 'Pill Mill' In Norwalk Arrested In Canada DARIEN, Conn. — A doctor from Darien wanted in connection with a "pill mill' ring that sold prescriptions for narcotic paiinkillers for cash and defrauded heathcare insurers was arrested after he fled into Canada, according to the Montreal Gazette. Dr. Ramil Mansourov, 47, who had offices in Norwalk, was arrested at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, the Gazette said. Stamford Teen Gets 20 Years For Fatally Stabbing Man Over Spilled Coffee STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 17-year-old Stamford resident received a 20-year prison sentence on Tuesday for fatally stabbing a man who accidentally spilled coffee on him in front of a Bedford Street McDonald's in 2015, according to the Stamford Advocate. Marquest Hall, 17, pleaded guilty in March to first-degree manslaughter related to the March 11, 2015, stabbing death of 52-year-old Antonio Muralles. Bridgeport Man Charged With Raping Woman At Stratford Motel STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was charged with raping a woman in a Stratford motel on Tuesday, according to the Connecticut Post. The Bridgeport woman told police that she was staying at the Stratford Motor Inn and was watching television when an acquaintance, 21-year-old Joseph Safilo, showed up uninvited, according to the Connecticut Post. Fairfield Man Made Harassing Calls To Ex's Daughter, Easton Police Say EASTON, Conn. -- A Fairfield man was arrested by Easton Police after his ex-girlfriend's daughter complained that he called her several times while drunk and ranted at her, according to police. Stamford Man Filmed Girl As She Changed In Dressing Room, Police Say STAMFORD, Conn. – A Stamford man was arrested Monday evening after police said he was filming a female juvenile as she was undressing in a fitting room at Forever 21.
