Details Emerge In Abandoned Baby Case In Danbury As Mother Appears In Court DANBURY, Conn. — The 22-year-old woman who abandoned her baby behind a Danbury market back in May had told no one about her pregnancy and had given birth to the boy alone her bedroom, according to the News-Times. Norwalk Police Find Drugs Hidden In Parolee's Bible NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man stopped after a disturbance on Bedford Avenue Wednesday morning was found with cocaine and heroin on him, including heroin that he had tried to hide inside the pages of a Bible, according to the Hour. SHU Student Accused Of Making Up Rape Story Applies For Psychiatric Program BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A former Sacred Heart student who has been charged with making up rape allegations against two other students has applied for a program that could see her charges dismissed if it is determined that she has a psychiatric disability, according to the Connecticut Post. Fan Blamed For Starting Stamford Fire That Displaced 12 People STAMFORD, Conn. — Officials have determined that a fire on Seaside Avenue in Stamford on Wednesday was caused by a fan that caught fire, according to the Stamford Advocate. Community Rallies To Help Bridgeport Man Who Rushed In To Help After Crash WESTPORT, Conn. -- Aaron Tucker was on his way from Bridgeport to Norwalk for a job interview on Wednesday when a crash in Westport threw a wrench into those plans.
