Woman Reports Being Robbed At Stamford Hotel By Greenwich Brothers STAMFORD, Conn. — A pair of brothers from Greenwich were arrested after police said they robbed a woman who was offering massages out of a room at a Stamford hotel last week, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police told the Stamford Advocate that 44-year-old Frank Chimblo and 28-year-old Kristopher Chimblo pretended to be law enforcement officers when they went into the woman's room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Stamford on Friday night. Darien Balloon Day Fundraiser Brings In $73K For Opus Campership Program DARIEN, Conn. – For the fifth year, Doug Milne and Sheree Frank, the Home Team at Houlihan Lawrence, will sponsor the OPUS for Person-to- Person Campership Picnic, which will be held on July 19 at St. Luke’s Community Center. Darien Photographer Scammed In Check Fraud Scheme, Police Say DARIEN, Conn. -- A Darien photographer was scammed out of nearly $2,000 by someone claiming they wanted to hire him for a photo shoot, according to police. The man had been flying a drone with a friend in Greenwich in early June when they were approached by another man asking about the drone. During their conversation, the complainant mentioned that he was a photographer, and the other man mentioned that he owned a production company in New York City and was looking for production assistants. Bridgeport Man Who Saved Crash Victim Asks For Donations To End BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man who rushed in to save the victim of a car crash in Westport last week said he is grateful after receiving more than $50,000 in donations to help him get back on his feet, but has asked supporters to stop sending donations. Norwalk Man Busted In Stolen Car Gives Conflicting Story To Darien Police DARIEN, Conn. -- A Norwalk man caught driving a stolen car in Darien told officers that the car belonged to his cousin's girlfriend, according to police. Fillow Street In Norwalk Reopens After Rollover Car Crash Updated, 1:30 p.m.: NORWALK, Conn. -- Fillow Street in Norwalk has reopened following Monday morning's car accident. Police said speed appeared to be a factor in the rollover crash. No serious injuries were reported despite the rollover near a stone wall, police said. Wilton Man Tried To Break Into House While Family Was Home, Police Say WILTON, Conn. -- A 27-year-old Wilton man was arrested after police said he tried to break into a Beacon Falls house while the family was still home.
