14-Year-Old Shot, Killed On CT Street A 14-year-old died after being shot on a Connecticut street. The boy was found around 11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, in New Haven after officers responded to multiple 911 calls about someone being shot on Chatham Street, authorities said. When officers arrived on the scene they found Tyshaun Hargrove, a resident of New Haven, suffering from gunshot wounds on Chatham Street, between Rowe and Ferry streets, said Officer Scott Shumway of the New Haven Police. Delivery Driver's Vehicle Stolen In Fairfield County Carjacking, Police Say A vehicle and cellphone were stolen during a carjacking of a delivery driver in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, on Indian Avenue, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. According to Appleby, a person, who was reportedly armed with a knife carjacked a Chinese food delivery driver of their gray Toyota Rav4 and their cellphone. The victim was not injured.  The investigation is ongoing.

Alert Issued For Sisters Who've Gone Missing In Region Police are asking the public for help locating two sisters who have been reported missing in Western Massachusetts. The Hampden County residents, 14-year-old Hamailee Sevilla and 12-year-old Kailey Del-Valle, were reported missing by their mother on Tuesday, Aug. 24, said the Springfield Police. The department said they ran away from their Springfield home on Tuesday night. Long Island Man Nabbed For Scamming Woman Out Of $86K, Police Say A Long Island man has been accused of scamming a woman out of more than $86,000. According to Nassau County detectives, the 87-year-old woman received a letter through US mail claiming she had won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.  The woman contacted the phone number listed on the mailer and was instructed to withdraw cash from her bank on multiple dates, totaling in the amount of $86,000, said the Nassau County Police.  It was explained to the victim that the money was to pay for fees and taxes related to the sweepstakes win.   The victim was further instruc…
