SUV Slams Into Second Floor Of Connecticut Home An SUV ended up inside the second story of a Connecticut home after the driver crashed into the residence. The crash took place in New London County around 1:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, in Norwich, said the Great Plain Volunteer Fire Department. The department said when it arrived on the scene they found the SUV had crashed through a second-story room of the home, with the driver still inside the vehicle with a power line resting on the roof. Driver Killed After Crash Near Hotel In Fairfield County A driver was killed in a crash near a hotel in Fairfield County. The crash took place in Greenwich around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 police in the area of 1700 E. Putnam Ave., near the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Greenwich Police said the driver, who has been identified, died from their injuries. Her name has not yet been released. The Traffic Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate. New Dispatch Audio Reveals Cops In Utah Were Told Brian Laundrie Hit Gabby Petito New dispatch audio shows that police in Utah who pulled over Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito knew before they stop that he had allegedly hit her and they may have violated protocol when they did not arrest him. The audio of the dispatch call contradicts reports from officers in Moab City, Utah, they were unaware of a call from a person who said they had witnessed Laundrie slapping Petito. Driver Dies After Rollover Crash In Region A woman has died following a rollover car crash in the region. The 31-year-old woman, who has not been identified, died following the Western Massachusetts crash in West Springfield, on Thursday, Sept. 23. Hampden District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Jim Leydon, said the crash took place on Memorial Avenue when the driver of an SUV struck another vehicle. After hitting the vehicle, the woman lost control of the SUV and hit a guiderail, causing it to roll over and catch fire, he said. Police said speeding is being considered as a factor in the crash.

One Killed, Two Injured In Fairfield County Crash A Fairfield County man was killed and two others injured during an early morning crash. The crash took place around 1:40 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 on Danbury Road near the intersection of Route 35 in Ridgefield. According to Captain Shawn Platt of the Ridgefield Police Department, said Nicholas Vega, age 25, of Danbury, was killed during the crash. CT Man Shot In Incident Involving Child Nabbed In Connection Of Same-Day Shooting Of Woman A Connecticut man who was shot last week with a 10-year-old boy has been arrested for shooting a woman earlier the same day. Derek St. Hilaire, age 21, of Waterbury, was apprehended on Sunday, Sept. 26 for the shooting of an 18-year-old woman on Thursday, Sept. 23. St. Hilaire was charged for the shooting after he was released from the hospital after being treated for gunshots wounds, according to Lt. Robert Davis, of the Waterbury Police. Seven Rescued On Long Island After Boat Begins Taking On Water Seven people aboard a boat that was taking on water were rescued by police on Long Island. The rescue took place around 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 26, in Oyster Bay. According to police, the Nassau County Marine Bureau received a call for a vessel taking on water while being towed. It was determined the boat was taking on water due to the turbulent sea conditions. Marine 11 was dispatched and safely transferred all seven persons aboard. They were transported to a local marina. No injuries were reported.

IDs Released For Driver Killed, Person Critically Injured In Area Crash Police have identified the person killed during a single-vehicle crash that also severely injured another person. Mark Savino, age 35, a lifelong resident of Congers, in Rockland County, was killed around 11:45 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24, when the vehicle he was in hit a utility pole, overturned, ejecting both occupants. Suspect At Large After 16-Year-Old Shot, Killed On CT Street A suspect is at large after a Connecticut teen was shot and killed on a city street overnight. Wildemar Santiago, age 16, of Hartford, was shot around 1:10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 27, in front of 89 Martin St. in Hartford. According to Lt.
