Woman Caught With Heroin Tampers With Evidence After Northern Westchester Crash, Police Say Police report the arrest of a Northern Westchester resident, for tampering with evidence after allegedly being caught with heroin following a vehicle crash. Brooke Tschudy, age 28, of Yorktown, was charged on Tuesday, Sept. 21 after officers were dispatched to Oakside Road.  An investigation by Yorktown Police found that Tschudy was driving while her privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons and for possession of heroin, police said. Fairfield County Man Nabbed For DUI Following Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with alleged driving while under the influence after crashing his vehicle and landing on top of a rock wall. Charles Bazelais, age 26, of Stamford, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Sept. 24 by Darien Police for the incident which took place in May. Reward Offered In Investigation Of Fatal Shooting Of CT Man Outside His Residence Connecticut State Police are offering a $25,000 reward for leads in the murder of an area man in 2017. Steven Devost, age 31, of the Town of Sprague, in New London County, was shot and killed, outside his home on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2017, said the state police. The New London State's Attorney Office has authorized the reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
