Suspect Flees On Foot After 15-Year-Old Girl Shot On Long Island, Police Say Police on Long Island are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old girl. The shooting took place around 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, in Mastic, at the Poospatuck Indian Reservation, said the Suffolk County Police. According to detectives, the girl was outside on Abby Lane when she was shot in the foot by an unknown individual. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.  The victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries. No arrests have been made. Man Nabbed With Illegal Handgun During Traffic Stop In Area, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was arrested for allegedly driving without a valid license and criminal possession of a weapon. Dutchess County resident Kwesi Paul, age 42, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested around 1 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27 after being stopped by New York State Police on Route 44. Man Accused Of Selling Fentanyl At Hotel, Mall In Hudson Valley An area man faces up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl at a hotel and a mall. Timothy Schleede, age 30, of Lake Katrine, in Ulster County, pled guilty to one count of distribution of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute on Friday, Oct. 22, according to US Attorney Carla B. Freedman.
