She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Trio Nabbed After Police Officer Hit By Car In CT Walmart Shoplifting Incident A call to police for a shoplifting incident ended with an officer being hit and seriously injured and three people behind bars. The incident began around 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, when Naugatuck Police were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road to investigate the incident. A Naugatuck Police officer arrived on the scene and interrupted a suspect attempting to enter a waiting vehicle, said police. Former HS Athlete In Northern Westchester Dies Suddenly At Age 28 A 28-year-old former high school athlete has died suddenly at her home in Westchester. Christina P. Carpenito, age 28, of Valhalla, died Tuesday, Nov. 2 at her residence. Known as being a talented singer and talented artist, she attended Valhalla High School and was a member of the varsity volleyball team. Carpenito was born on Oct. 24, 1993, to Michael and Jeanne P. (Feeney) Carpenito in White Plains. She is survived by her father, Michael Carpenito, her mother, Jeanne P. Long Island T-Mobile Store Robbed Of Apple Watches, Phones, Police Say Police are searching for a group of alleged robbers who ripped off numerous iPhones and Apple watches from a Long Island T-Mobil store. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4 at the store located at 348 West Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream. According to Nassau County Police Robbery Squad detectives, four individuals including one Black man three Black women entered the store and inquired if the store sold Apple watches. Two Women Injured After Car Crashes Into Building In Fairfield County Two women were injured after their vehicle crashed into a building at a residential complex in Fairfield County. It happened around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3 within the Putnam Park/Putnam Park Complex in Central Greenwich. According to Captain Mark Zuccerella, of the Greenwich Police, when officers arrived they found a 69-year-old female driver and an 85-year-old female passenger both conscious. Fire Destroys Three-Car Garage On Long Island A garage of a Long Island home received heavy damage after a fire ripped through the garage area. The fire took place around 12:15 am, Thursday, Nov. 4, on Wolf Hill Road, said the Melville Volunteer Fire Department. When firefighters arrived with multiple units, all under the command of Chief of Department David Kaplan and Assistant Chief Jason Bernfeld, they found heavy fire in the garage. Drunk Fairfield County Man Who Left Car In Middle Of Road, Found Inside Area Home A drunk Fairfield County man was arrested after allegedly being found inside an area home on the staircase claiming he was working on the house, which he was not, according to authorities.
