Suspect Nabbed In Fairfield County Bank Robbery A Fairfield County man has been charged in connection with a September bank robbery. Eliezer Negron, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 29 for a robbery at the Fairfield County in Norwalk on Tuesday, Sept. 21, Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police Department said. According to Gulino, Negron walked into the bank around 1:30 p.m., wearing a hard hat and a mask resembling a tiger's mouth, and demanded money, and intimated he was armed. Area Man Nabbed For DWI After Rollover Crash, Police Say An area man was nabbed for alleged driving under the influence after crashing and rolling his vehicle. Nicholas A. Duffy-Godwin, age 24, of the hamlet of Palenville in Greene County, was arrested around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, in Ulster County following the crash in Saugerties. According to Saugerties Police, Duffy-Godwin lost control of his vehicle and rolled it while traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Mike Draut Road. Teen Charged In Shooting At Long Island Home, Police Say A teen has been apprehended as part of an ongoing investigation into shots fired on the property of a Long Island residence. Suffolk County resident Adrian Johnson, age 18, of Riverhead was arrested on Monday, Nov. 29 by the Riverhead Police in conjunction with the US Marshals Service for the October incident. Area Man Charged With Threatening Person With Rifle, Handgun During Dispute, Police Say Police apprehended a local man for allegedly threatening another person with a rifle and unregistered handgun during a domestic dispute. The incident took place around 2 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 27 in the town of Denning, said the Ulster County Sheriff's Office. Man Apprehended During Traffic Stop Sentenced For Killing Hudson Valley Man A former resident in the area has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of a Hudson Valley man. Jason Jabouin, age 35, was sentenced on Monday, Nov. 29, to one count of manslaughter in connection with the killing of Ryan Franklin, of West Haverstraw on Friday, May 22, 2020, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Woman Found Dead Inside Car In Western Mass Police in Western Massachusets are investigating after a woman was found shot to death in a car and a man was found shot a short distance away. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 28 in Hampden on East Alvord Street in Springfield. Abandoned Kittens Found In Dumpster Across From CT Police Station Police and animal control officers are asking the public for help after a complaint was made of three kittens being dropped into a dumpster across from a police department. The news about the kittens was first posted to Facebook by a New Haven County poster who said the kittens had been dumped in Naugatuck.
