CT Man Found Shot To Death On Street By Citizen, Police Say
A Connecticut man was found shot to death on a city street after he was found by a citizen.
Devonte Downer, age 22, was found around midnight on Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the rear of 158 Magnolia St., in Hartford.
At around 11:20 p.m., Hartford Police responded to the area of 27 Enfield St., for a Shot Spotter call, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.
Responding officers conducted a thorough canvass of the area and did not locate any evidence of a shooting, Boisvert said.

Man Shot Multiple Times In Area Not Cooperating With Officers, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man who was shot numerous times is allegedly refusing to cooperate with the police.
The victim was found shot around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received a 911 call reporting a man shot in front of a store at 551 Main St.
According to Lt. Matt Clark, of the City of Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers found the victim, a 30-year-old City of Poughkeepsie resident, shot multiple times in the abdomen.

Woman Dies In Westchester House Fire
A Westchester woman has died from injuries following a fire at her apartment over the weekend.
The 52-year-old died on Monday, Nov. 29, from injuries incurred during the fire that took place on Richbell Road around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Village of Mamaroneck.
When police and fire arrived on the scene, the fire had mainly been extinguished by Good Samaritans using fire extinguishers, said Village of Mamaroneck PD Lt. Mark Gatta.
Fire Department officials located the woman, the sole occupant, inside the apartment, Gatta said.
