Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 15-Year-Old Police on Long Island are asking the public for help locating a missing teen. Ja-wan Groover, age 15, is a runaway from the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in Suffolk County in Riverhead. No four play is suspected, said the Riverhead Police. Groover is described as being a black male, 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. The crash took place in Franklin County around 8:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2 in Gill.
