The incident took place around 6:25 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Dollar Tree parking lot on Old Country Road in Riverhead. According to police, a 53-year-old man was in his vehicle in the parking lot when a Hispanic woman got into his vehicle and shut it off. Three Injured After Fire Breaks Out At Fairfield County Home Three people were injured during a fire at a Fairfield County home. The fire started around 9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 8, at a home located at 646 Hallett St., in Bridgeport. According to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, those injured were found on the ground in the front of the home and their injuries were consistent with a fall. Extra Officers At Fairfield County High School After 'Disturbing Message' Found, Police Say Extra officers have been assigned to a Fairfield County high school after a "disturbing message" was discovered. The message was discovered on the wall of the girl's bathroom at Greenwich High School around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9. According to Captain Mark Zuccerella, of the Greenwich Police, two patrol officers have been assigned to assist the School Resource Officers with assessing the situation.
