Area Man Pleads Guilty To Stabbing Woman Multiple Times A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to stabbing a woman multiple times causing serious physical injuries. Orange County resident Miles Peterson, age 25, of Newburgh, pleaded guilty to assault on Wednesday, Dec. 15 to the June event in the town of Newburgh, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Police Seeking Help Identifying Fairfield County Bank Robber Police in Fairfield County are seeking the public's help identifying an alleged bank robber who jumped the counter and made off with cash and then carjacked a ride-sharing vehicle. The incident took place around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the Webster Bank branch located at 3546 Main St., in Bridgeport. According to Detective Jeffrey Holtz, of the Bridgeport Police, the man leaped over the counter and demanded the teller hand over the cash. Joseph Graff, age 26, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 10, after police responded to the coffee shop in Greenwich.
