Police Search For Jefferson Valley Bank Robbery Suspect JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Savings Bank in Jefferson Valley was robbed on Friday afternoon, according to Yorktown Police. At about 2 p.m., a light skinned black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, light colored pants, and a white and green hoodie walked into the bank, according to police. He handed several plastic bags to the teller and instructed her to put money in the bag, according to police. He then left the bank in an unknown direction.
