An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Police Search For Jefferson Valley Bank Robbery Suspect JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- A Putnam County Savings Bank in Jefferson Valley was robbed on Friday afternoon, according to Yorktown Police. At about 2 p.m., a light skinned black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, and wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, light colored pants, and a white and green hoodie walked into the bank, according to police. He handed several plastic bags to the teller and instructed her to put money in the bag, according to police. He then left the bank in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to call Yorktown Police at 914-962-4141.
