Hendrick Hudson High School Inducts Six Into Hall Of Fame MONTROSE, N.Y. --- Hendrick Hundson will be inducting a new class into its Hall of Fame in October. The district announced its 2015 class, which will be inducted in a ceremony on Oct. 2 at Cortlandt Colonial. The inductees will be honored on Oct. 3 at halftime of the homecoming football game. The 2003 boys soccer team finished 18-2-2, winning the sectional finals. Coached by Roger Arnold, the team featured back-to-back Con Edison award winners in Brian Kuritzky and Will Sprouse. Police Investigate Second Robbery At Jefferson Valley Bank In Two Weeks YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Police Department is investigating a new bank robbery at Putnam County Savings Bank at 3649 Lee Road in Jefferson Valley. According to police, at 11:47 a.m., two black males, approximately 6 feet tall and in their mid-20s, wearing dark colored clothes, sunglasses and dark colored hats entered the bank. One suspect was wearing a light colored bandanna covering his face. The two men handed several bags to the teller and instructed him to put money in the bags. 6-Year-Old's Mother Charged With Negligent Homicide, Says Westchester DA CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Kathleen Dymes was charged Wednesday with three counts, including criminally negligent homicide, in the death of her 6-year-old daughter, Lacey Carr, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's office. Dymes, 51, was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.  Dymes surrendered to Croton police Wednesday morning and was in a wheelchair with a brace on her right leg.  Criminally negligent homicide is a class E felony. Funeral Services Set For 26-Year-Old Yorktown Woman Struck, Killed By Car YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Brittany Mastropolo, a 26-year-old Yorktown Heights resident who died after being hit by a car Friday in Valhalla, will be laid to rest Wednesday. Mastropolo's funeral is 11:15 a.m. at Old Stone Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights. A wake is being held Tuesday at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mastropolo was struck and killed by a car near Pat's Deli.
