Man, 38, ID'd As Victim In Fatal Tappan Zee Bridge Crash A Nyack man was killed Wednesday morning after his motorcycle collided with a tractor trailer on the Tappan Zee Bridge. According to police, at 11:23 a.m. witnesses said 38-year-old Jose Capo was driving his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle on the southbound side of the bridge in an aggressive manner, weaving through traffic.  He lost control of his motorcycle, crashed into the back of a pickup truck, was ejected and then was struck by a 2012 Volvo tractor trailer, according to police. A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a tractor-trailer on the Westchester-bound Tappan Zee Bridge Wednesday morning, according to state police. The incident occurred at 11:22 a.m. on the southbound side of the bridge mid-span, according to state police. State police said the accident remains under investigation.
