Beloved Morris County resident Ian W. Lerner died on Monday, Jan. 30. He was 33.
Ian attended Chatham High School, where he was a skilled member of both the golf and bowling teams, his obituary says.
Ian was a shipping manager at BASF for the Millenium Group in Florham Park.
His downtime was spent golfing with his family and friends and spreading his “wealth” of information about his many interests, like the military, the Jets, the Yankees, the Devils, and craft beers, says his memorial.

An elected Flemington Borough Councilman was arrested for selling meth and cocaine, authorities said.
Malik D. Johnston, aka Pippin J. Folk, 46, was charged with second-degree counts of distribution of cocaine, distribution of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. An Easton man was arrested over a year after authorities say he held a woman at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her behind a Phillipsburg alleyway.
John H. Holmes, 40, of the 200 block of Northampton Street, was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, criminal restraint, theft, and weapons offenses, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said in a release on Friday, Feb. 3.
