Man Arrested For Posing As Student At Morris County High School: Prosecutor A man was arrested for pretending to be a student at a Morris County high school, authorities said. Charles Banaciski III, 19, was seen on surveillance footage entering Montville Township High School around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a joint release on Friday. Banaciski walked around the building donning a backpack before being discovered and questioned by a teacher, to whom he allegedly “claimed to be a student,” Carroll said. Girl, 11, Run Over By Car In Hunterdon County An 11-year-old girl was taken to a trauma center after being run over by a car in Hunterdon County early Friday morning, responders said. The accident occurred near Van Etta Road and Witherspoon Street in Readington Township shortly after 7 a.m. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the accident and treated the girl for leg and foot injuries, a member told Daily Voice. She was then taken by ambulance to the RWJ New Brunswick trauma center.

Driver Killed In Fiery Morris County Crash: Authorities A driver was killed in a fiery crash in Morris County late on Wednesday, Feb. 1, authorities said. The crash occurred on Southgate Parkway near the intersection with South Street in Morris Township shortly before 11:20 p.m. Morris County Prosecutor’s Office PIO Meghan Knab told Daily Voice. A vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree before going up in flames, Officer Knab said.
