No Threat In Massive Search For Armed Suspect That Placed 2 NJ Universities On Lockdown A massive search for an armed suspect that placed two New Jersey universities on lockdown and brought rail services to a halt was deemed unfounded on Tuesday, April 4, authorities in Morris County announced. The search began when a bystander walking at Saint Elizabeth University and near Convent Station encountered a man who had made a threat of violence and was potentially armed around 10:30 a.m., the prosecutor's office said in a release. Madison PD Corporal Hurt Trying To Detain Bank Fraud Suspect Who Clung To Side Of Getaway Car A Madison Police Corporal was hurt while attempting to detain a 46-year-old bank fraud suspect who fled by clinging to the side of a vehicle and later arrested on Monday, April 3, authorities said.
