Man Pleads Guilty In Death Of Bridgeport Man Hit By Brick BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A man pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the death of a Bridgeport man who was hit by a brick thrown by a group of people last year, according to the Connecticut Post. On Monday 30-year-old Jonathan DeJesus pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in court in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Post reported. He is set to be sentenced on Nov. 3, when a judge has said he will receive eight years in prison, according to the Connecticut Post. Pizza Man Attacked In Bridgeport Robbery BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man was attacked and robbed while delivering a pizza in Bridgeport on Sunday, according to the Connecticut Post. The Domino's delivery driver was delivering a pizza when he was punched and his phone and wallet were taken, the Connecticut Post reported. He was attacked by one male, who may have had an accomplice, according to the Connecticut Post. Police told the Connecticut Post that they have leads in the case that they are pursuing. Couple Robbed At Gunpoint In Stamford Park STAMFORD, Conn. -- A couple reported that they were robbed at gunpoint at around 5 p.m. Monday in Rotary Park in Stamford, according to the Stamford Advocate. The couple told police that they were collecting cans and bottles in the park when two teenagers on bikes approached them and asked for some money, according to the Stamford Advocate. When they refused, one pulled out a gun while the other pulled out a knife, the Stamford Advocate reported. Two Crossing Guards Injured After Being Hit By Car Near Bridgeport School BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two school crossing guards were hit by a car after a driver blacked out at the wheel near Geraldine Johnson Elementary School in Bridgeport. City spokesperson Av Harris said that the accident happened at around 8:20 a.m. near the intersection of Park Avenue and North Avenue. $32,000 Worth Of Jewelry Stolen From Store At Trumbull Mall TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull Police are seeking three people suspected of stealing more than $32,000 in jewelry from the Pandora Store at the Westfield Trumbull Mall.
