Gun Charge Added For Man Charged With Selling Drugs Out Of Monroe Home MONROE, Conn. — A Monroe man charged with selling drugs out of his home in August has now been arrested on drug charges after police said they found a stolen handgun in his possession. Michael Pinto, 55, is the husband of a Stamford police officer, and was arrested in August following a joint investigation by the Monroe Police Department and the Stamford Police Narcotics Unit. Police said that the Stamford Narcotics Unit had begun an investigation into cocaine sales with connections to Monroe, and developed Pinto as a suspect. Body Recovered Of Bridgeport Man Who Jumped From I-95 Into Norwalk River NORWALK, Conn. — The body of a Bridgeport man who jumped from the the Yankee Doodle Bridge on I-95 in Norwalk was recovered Thursday from the water, according to State Police. The man was identified as Evol M. Genias, 58, of Bridgeport.
