Westport Man Charged With Grabbing Woman And Trying To Kiss Her During Walk WESTPORT, Conn. -- A woman told police that a man she met at Starbucks in Westport grabbed her and attempted to kiss her after they went on a walk together. The woman told police that at around 2 p.m. on June 1 she met a man named James while at the Starbucks in the Parker-Harding Plaza in Westport. After talking with him a bit, they decided to take a walk together, but she said that while they were outside he forcibly grabbed her arms and attempted to kiss her, police said. Another Person Dies After Overdosing On Opiate-Laced Crack In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk Police are investigating the third death due to an overdose on opiate-laced crack cocaine in the past week, according to the Hour. Stratford Man Pleads Guilty To Distributing Heroin STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford man pleaded guilty to distributing heroin after police found him with 190 bags of heroin and more than $32,000 in cash earlier this year. Anthony Lee Parowski, 30, pleaded guilty before a judge in Bridgeport on Tuesday to one count of distribution of heroin, according to Deirdre M. Connecticut Gas Prices Continue To Rise, Remain Above National Average FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Gas prices in Connecticut have continued to increase over the past week, with Fairfield County's average price well above both statewide and nationwide averages.
