Driver Killed In Crash On Route 7 In Wilton WILTON, Conn. -- A person was killed in a two-car accident on Route 7 in Wilton Wednesday night, according to News 12. The accident took place near the intersection with Old Mill Road, News 12 reported. The driver of one of the two cars involved was killed, while the other driver was taken to the hospital, according to News 12. The accident occurred at around 10 p.m. and closed down the road for several hours, according to News 12. Police have not released the identity the person killed in the crash, News 12 reported. Darien Police Investigate Break-In Of Another Unlocked Car DARIEN, Conn. -- Another unlocked car was broken into in Darien this week, according to police. The incident on Shadbush Lane was reported at around 5 p.m. on Monday. The owner of a 2012 Audi A6 told police that he had left his car parked in the driveway the night before with the doors unlocked. When he came outside the next morning to go to work, the glove compartment and the center console were open, and papers were out of place, police said. The owner didn't believe anything was missing. Mosquitoes Caught In Fairfield County Test Positive For West Nile Virus FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station announced Wednesday that the Fairfield County towns of Greenwich, Stamford, Stratford and Westport were among 12 towns in the state where mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus. Norwalk Man Charged With Exposing Himself To Kids NORWALK, Conn. — Police charged a 46-year-old Norwalk man with exposing himself to a group of children on Tuesday, according to the Hour. Police told the Hour that they were called to a South Main Street at round 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The children told an adult that Christopher Barrett of Merritt Street had exposed himself to them, the Hour reported. Norwalk Police Find Gun, Fentanyl-Laced Heroin In Raid NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk convicted felon was arrested after a raid on his home turned up a loaded gun and heroin laced with Fentanyl, according to police. The Special Services Division of the Norwalk Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant on Tuesday at 166 West Cedar St., which is within the Colonial Village Housing Complex. Accidents Slow Traffic On I-95 Near Norwalk, Westport WESTPORT, Conn. -- A pair of accidents has slowed down I-95 in both directions in the area of Westport and Norwalk Wednesday afternoon. I-95 southbound traffic is congested between exits 19 and 16 because of a two-car accident between exits 17 and 16. As of 1:30 p.m., the left lane is closed to traffic. I-95 northbound traffic is congested between exits 12 and 19 because of a two-car accident between exits 18 and 19. As of 1:30 p.m., the right and center lanes are closed.

Brookfield Man Charged With Strangling Woman In Wilton WILTON, Conn. -- A Brookfield man was charged with assaulting and strangling a woman in a car in Wilton this weekend, according to the Wilton Bulletin.Police said they were alerted to a disturbance on Danbury Road at around 6:30 p.m. and arrived to find a woman walking near the car, according to the Wilton Bulletin.
