Greenwich Man Charged With Selling Heroin In Overdose GREENWICH, Conn. — A Greenwich man was charged with supplying heroin that led to an overdose this month, according to the Greenwich Patch. The arrest is the result of an overdose that took place on Aug. 9 at a home on Old Kings Highway, according to Patch. Medical personnel provided medical care and the person was taken to the hospital, where they recovered, Patch reported. 63-Year-Old Newtown Man Armed With Butcher Knife Robs Bank NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A Newtown man armed with a butcher knife was charged with robbing a bank on Queen Street in Newtown Thursday afternoon, according to police. Police received a call at around 2:38 p.m. from the Bank of America Security Department and a 911 call from the Bank of America branch on Queen Street, saying that a bank robbery had just occurred. The caller said that the suspect had given a teller a note saying that he had a gun, and that if the teller called the police he would kill everyone in the bank, police said. Police: Bridgeport Man Shot To Death Thursday Was Not Intended Target BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police have identified the 34-year-old man who was shot to death on Sixth Street in Bridgeport on Thursday morning. Cadell Moore, 34, of Bridgeport was fatally shot at around 11 a.m. while working on his car in front of the house at 54/56 Sixth St., city spokesperson Av Harris said. It does not appear that Moore was the intended target, Harris said.
