Car Crashes Into Pole On Cross Hill Road In Monroe MONROE, Conn. -- One person was seriously injured after a car crashed into a pole and tree on Cross Hill Road in Monroe Friday morning. Firefighters from the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, the Stepney Fire Department and the Stevenson Fire Department all responded to the scene of the single car accident.
