Five Pelham Memorial H.S. Students Honored As Athletes Of The Week
PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham school district has named five students from Pelham Memorial High School as Athletes of the Week.
This week's honorees include seniors Greg Gordon, George McNenney and Natty Heintz, junior Charlotte Krause and sophomore Layla Radosta, according to the school district.
Gordon, McNenney, Krause and Radosta all performed well for the varsity winter track team at the Dec. 22 track meet, according to the district, which said that Gordon placed third in the 300-meter run while McNenney and Kraused placed fourth and second, respectively, in the high jump. Stratford Cops Charge Man, 28, With Selling Cocaine From Car
STRATFORD, Conn. — Stratford police arrested a 28-year-old man they say has been selling cocaine from the driver’s seat of a gray Infiniti sedan, according to the Connecticut Post.
Daryl Wright, also known as “The Rock,” was arrested Thursday, Dec. 29, by undercover police who had worked through a cooperating witness to arrange several drug purchases, according to the Post.
Wright, who was released on $50,000 bond, faces two counts of sale of narcotics, according to the Post.
