Mount Pleasant To Focus On Areas In Need During 8th Annual Clean-Up Event THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- The town of Mount Pleasant is hosting the eighth annual Clean-Up Day on April 23 at James M. Carroll Park in Thornwood.Coffee and doughnuts will be served at the event, which is set to run from 8 a.m. - noon. The clean-up efforts will focus on major areas of Mount Pleasant that are in need, including Kensico Road, the Saw Mill River Parkway entrance, Columbus Avenue, Broadway Field and Carroll Park.
