High School Film Festival is calling all high school filmmakers to submit their work for the chance to win college scholarships. The submissions, which are due April 29, can be in a number of categories, including comedy, non-fiction, PSA, music video, animation, experimental and the themed category, “Tomorrow is Another Day.” Films are to reflect the stories, styles and experiences of today’s teens. Back To School: Suffern Police K-9 Patriot Visits Local Kindergarteners SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Suffern Police Department's K-9 Officer Lou Venturini and department K-9 Patriot visited kindergarteners at a local elementary school on Tuesday, April 19, according to a Facebook post. Patriot, the department's third K-9 officer, is an award winning animal who has been recognized by the United States Police K-9 Association, according to the Nyack Free Press.
