Man Killed Wife, Son, Shot Neighbor Knocking On Door Before Standoff In Fort Washington: Police
A man has been charged with shooting and killing his wife and son in their Fort Washington home before barricading himself inside, authorities announced.
Michael Kevin Burch has been identified by the Prince George's County Police Department as the suspect who gunned down Rori Burch, 52, Michael Burch, Jr., 25, in the 1900 block of Tall Timber Court on Thursday afternoon.
Police say that Rori Burch was found outside the home, while the son was inside the house.
The 62-year-old also shot a third man who was initially listed as critical, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police say.

A troubled Ridgefield man was seized after barricading himself in his home with his 12-year-old daughter, authorities said.
A Bergen County Regional SWAT team joined local officers during the Maple Avenue standoff, which ended when Osvaldo Salas-Kechichian, 44, was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, nearly three hours after it began, Ridgefield Deputy Chief Robert Meurer said.
His roommate had come to headquarters earlier to report that Salas-Kechichian threw his belongings outside and threatened him with a knife, Meurer said.
