Arlington Schools Employee Showed Porn To Three Children: Police An Arlington Public Schools Extended Day employee is facing charges for showing pornography to three juveniles, police said. Matthew Pineda, 18, of Fairfax County, is charged with possession of child pornography and assault and battery. Police said he became the center of an investigation on April 19 and was being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Center. Annandale Man Claims $1M Lottery Ticket Sold At 7-Eleven Monna Islam was feeling lucky. That’s the reason the Falls Church resident bought a 20X the Money ticket from the Virginia Lottery, according to a release on the VA Lottery website. He told Lottery officials that as he scratched the ticket, it looked like he was going to win $10 or $20. Then he discovered he’d just won the game’s $1 million top prize. Softball Team Treasurer Arrested At Oxford High School Sporting Event For Theft A 50-year-old Pennsylvania man has been arrested at a high school sporting event in Chester County for stealing thousands of dollars from a youth softball team, authorities said. James "Rudy" Allen, of Cochranville, "improperly used" more than $6,000 in funds intended for a youth softball team, the Oxford Police Department said in a news release. Abduction Of 14-Year-Old In Philadelphia Was Fake: Police An investigation found that the abduction of a 14-year-old girl in Philadelphia turned out to be fake, police confirmed. On Thursday, April 25, city police reported that the teen was grabbed behind by a male while on a FaceTime call with her mom around 4:55 p.m. Police later put out the following statement: "The teen has been located. She is in good health and back at home. Police are continuing to investigate the incident, but at this point in the investigation, an abduction does not appear to have taken place."

Police ID Motorcyclist, 50, Killed In Burke Crash Police have identified the motorcyclist killed Wednesday night, April 24 in Fairfax County. Mohab Helmy, 50, of Burke, was heading west on Old Keene Mill Road in Burke on a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when he struck a 2005 Toyota sedan making a left turn onto Old Keene Mill Road from a shopping center just after 10 p.m., county police said. Fight Leads To Child Neglect Charge For Prince William County Woman: Cops A 37-year-old Prince William County woman has been charged with felony child neglect stemming from an argument this week, police said.
