Massachusetts Woman Sentenced For Stealing Social Security Benefits A Massachusetts woman has been sentenced in federal court in Worcester to stealing Social Security benefits from her dead mother-in-law. Former Worcester County resident Sue E. Delaney, age 68, who was a resident of Luneburg, was sentenced to six months of home confinement and two years of probation on Tuesday, Aug. 10, said the state US Attorney's Office. Man Drowns While Swimming At Pond In Area, Police Say A man died after jumping into an area pond and then failed to resurface. The incident took place around 12:40 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12, in Rockland County at the pond located at Memorial Park in Spring Valley.
