Man, Juveniles Nabbed For Shooting Earlier This Month In Region, State Police Say A man and a juvenile have been charged in connection with a shooting that took place earlier in the month. Sullivan County residents Tahleek Clark, age 20, and a 15-year-old juvenile were arrested on Friday, Aug. 13 for the incident which took place on Monday, Aug. 9 during the early morning hours in Monticello, said Trooper Steven Nevel. The shooting took place at the John Crawford Senior Housing community where multiple shots were fired and at least one person was injured. ID Released For Woman Found Dead In Submerged Vehicle At CT Park Police have identified a woman who was found dead inside a vehicle submerged underwater at a Connecticut park. The New Haven County woman, ID'd as 22-year-old Yamiles Vazquez was discovered around 3:50 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15, at Lakewood Park in Waterbury, authorities said. Vazquez was found after officers received a report from a utility worker who was working on a downed line, of a submerged vehicle in the area of Lakewood Road at Massachusetts Avenue at the park, said Waterbury PD Sgt. Fairfield County Man Arrested For Attempting To Entice Minor To Have Sex, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to entice a juvenile to engage in sexual activity. Rashad Tao Salaam, age 41, of Bridgeport, was apprehended on Friday, Aug. 13, by Greenwich Police following a weeklong investigation, authorities said. Man Wanted For Vandalizing Rockland County Church, Police Say Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with allegedly causing thousands of dollars of damage to an area church. Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Western Mass A pedestrian by a vehicle in Western Massachusetts suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The incident took place in Hampshire County around 12:30 p.m Saturday, Aug. 14 in the area of Main and Masonic streets in Northampton, said Detective Lt. Craig Kirouac. CT Man Dies Hiking In New Hampshire A Connecticut man died after suffering an unknown medical condition while hiking. The incident happened around 12:15 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14 in Mount Washington, New Hampshire. Woman Found Stabbed To Death In Western Mass, Police Say A woman was found stabbed to death when police responded to a call for an injured person in Western Massachusetts. It happened in Springfield around 8:55 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, on Baldwin Street, said authorities. Arriving officers found the woman with several stab wounds and began first aid on her. One Injured In Violent Four-Vehicle Crash In Fairfield County A violent four-vehicle crash in Fairfield County injured one person. It happened around 9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, on Route 8 in Shelton. Man Shot Multiple Times On Street In Fairfield County, Police Say A man was shot multiple times while on a city street in what police in Fairfield County say is an "isolated incident." Police responded around 3 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15, after receiving a report of a person shot on the 500 block of East Main Street in Bridgeport, authorities said.
