She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is investigating an incident involving the theft of sanding and plow equipment from a local business in the Town of LaGrange.  According to Capt. Man Charged For Fatal Shooting Outside Lounge In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been charged with the murder of another man outside an area lounge. Robert Sorrells, age 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 21 for the murder of Jonathan DaSilva, according to Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management.  Bridgeport Police Det. CT FedEx Employees Accused Of Stealing 20 Smartphones Two FedEx employees have been charged with allegedly stealing 20 smartphones from a shipping box on a conveyor belt. Simon M. Muriithi, age 18, of South Windsor, and Tyshawn Thomas, age 19, of East Hartford, both employees at the FedEx distribution center in South Windsor were arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 19. Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North New Haven Line Train A man standing on the train tracks was fatally struck by a Metro-North train in Connecticut. According to Dave Steckel, with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the "unauthorized man" was on the tracks around 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, just west of Milford in New Haven County when he was struck and killed by the train.
