At 1:09 p.m., Croton police received a 911 call from her father, David Carr, saying he could not wake up his daughter. Police responded to 144 Hastings Ave. and found Lacey unconscious and unresponsive and her mother, Kathleen Dymes, unconscious, according to Sgt. John Nikitopoulos. Tiffany, who died of natural causes, could've been dead for two weeks, according to News12. He was 69 or 70 years old. Briarcliff Student Shows 'Differences Are Blessings' BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School junior Alena Galan has overcome many obstacles and is lucky to be alive. The 17-year-old Galan is now the author of the new children's book, "Differences Are Blessings."  Seven weeks after she was adopted from Siberia in 2001 at three years old, Galan was diagnosed with Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, an enzyme deficiency. In 2005, Galan became the first patient in the Northeast to get an enzyme replaced. "If I didn't get the enzyme replaced, I wouldn't be here," Galan said. "I'm lucky this miracle happened." Police Investigating After Man's Body Is Found In Peekskill Creek PEEKSKILL, N.Y . -- Peekskill Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a creek on Park Street on Tuesday morning. Police received a call at 10:45 a.m. after a passerby saw a body in a creek on the 1300 block of Park Street, according to Lt. John White. Police, along with the medical examiner and a district attorney went to the scene and found a middle-aged Hispanic male, according to White. White said there were no obvious signs of trauma and police are working to identify the victim.

Missing Yorktown Woman Found In Florida YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A 43-year-old Yorktown woman who was reported missing last week has been found in Florida, Yorktown police announced Tuesday afternoon. Harmony Thaler was found in Miami about two weeks after her sister, Melody LaRocca went to her home and could not locate her. According to Sgt. Tom Genter, Yorktown police learned that she had taken a bus to Miami. Contacts were initiated in the Miami area that led to her being located, police said. Police Seek Public's Help In Search For Missing Man In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police are looking for a missing 34-year-old man with special needs. Steven Lorenz is a white male 5-foot-8, 200-pound who was last seen at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning wearing an orange jacket, black jeans and carrying an green lunch bag.
