Larchmont Shop Warns Of Con Ed Scam In Which Caller Warns Of Shutting Power LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Larchmont businesses are on high alert after receiving phone calls from someone claiming to be Con Edison and demanding money or they will shut off the power. David Nadelson of Aroma Coffee Roast was one of the businesses that received the call. He said Con Edison came up on the caller ID and said there was an issue with his billing. Nadelson said other Larchmont businesses received similar calls. "They were pretty crafty with time," Nadelson said. Route 22 Closed In North Castle After Tree Falls On Power Lines ARMONK, N.Y. -- North Castle Police announced that Route 22 has been closed between Baldwin Road and Chestnut Ridge Road due to a tree falling on power lines. Police said the road is impassable and Con Edison has been notified and is responding. Police do not know when the road will reopen and offers are on scene to assist with traffic control. Police are asking residents to use alternate routes to avoid the area.

The Tasting Room, at 3767 Route 9G in Rhinebeck is hosting Pop Up Ramen nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
