A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Victor Delprete, 63, Cortlandt Manor CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Victor J. Delprete, Jr., a resident of Cortlandt Manor and formerly of Ossining died on May 16 at the age of 63. Delprete was born in Bronxville on Feb. 18, 1954, and was the son of the late Victor and Mary (Longhi) Delprete.  Delprete was a retired groundskeeper with the Chappaqua School System and he retired around 2011. Gov. Cuomo's Approval Rating Trending Upward New Yorkers are liking what they see from their governor. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, saw his favorability ratings hit its highest level in almost three years, according to a Siena College poll. Hillside Lake Tax District Eliminated By East Fishkill Voters EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Voters overwhelmingly decided to dissolve the Hillside Lake taxing district in East Fishkill. Voters voted 183-3 to dissolve the district Saturday, which was created nearly twenty years ago. The East Fishkill Town Board has six months to come up with a plan for the lake, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. The town took over the lake in 1990 from a homeowner's association. Poughkeepsie Resident Playing Soccer In Brazil POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Kevin Hoff, a Poughkeepsie resident, will be living every soccer player's dream.The Arlington High School grad who plays soccer at SUNY Oneonta will be heading to Brazil for a soccer tour.
