Pickup Truck Hauling Trailer Strikes SUV, Flees On Route 78: State Police An SUV was struck by a pickup truck hauling a trailer in a late-night hit-and-run on Route 78 on Monday, August 28, state police said. The SUV was hit from behind by a pickup truck with a trailer that fled the scene just after midnight on the eastbound side near milepost 20.4 in Lebanon Borough, NJSP SFC Philip Curry told Daily Voice. No injuries were reported, and the truck has not been identified, Curry added.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries, Curry added. The crash remains under investigation. No further details were released.
