Baltimore Police responded to investigate the reported shooting on the 3000 block of West Garrison Avenue and found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the stomach around 1:30 a.m. The man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A follow-up investigation found that the man had broken into his ex-girlfriend’s house and "attempted to get into her locked bedroom" before she shot him, police said.
