Nissan Xterra With Keys Left Inside Reported Stolen From Darien Driveway DARIEN, Conn. -- A personal driver left his Nissan in the driveway of a home on Rocaton Road in Darien in order to drive his client to the airport and returns a couple hours later to discover that his car was gone, police said. The incident took place on Saturday, Aug. 19. The complainant told police that he had left his personal car, a 2005 Nissan Xterra, in the driveway in order to drive his client to the airport using his client's vehicle. Three Arrested After Large Scuffle In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. — Three people were arrested in connection with a large scuffle in the middle of the street that involved about 30 people in Greenwich last week, according to Greenwich Time. Police told Greenwich Time that officers responded to reports of a large disturbance on Davis Street in the early evening hours of Wednesday, Aug. 16. Second Suspect Arrested In Westport Bank Robbery WESTPORT, Conn. -- A second person has been arrested in connection with the July 2 robbery of the TD Bank in Westport, according to police. Loang Manpign, 24, of the Bronx was arrested at Norwalk Court on Tuesday by Westport Police Sergeant Sereniti Dobson and charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny. He was held on a $100,000 cash only bond and scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday. Cash, Beer Stolen In Norwalk Liquor Store Robbery NORWALK, Conn. — Someone armed with a knife stole cash and beer from a liquor store on Main Avenue in Norwalk on Monday, according to the Hour. The armed robbery took place at around 8:11 p.m. at World of Beverages, located at 295 Main Ave., the Hour reported. Police told the Hour that the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and a 30-pack of beer before fleeing. Three Nabbed On Gun Charges After Stolen Car Crashes Into Bus In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police found two loaded guns in a stolen Porsche from Westport that later crashed into a bus in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post. Man Charged With Threatening Norwalk Officer After Rear-Ending Cop Car NORWALK, Conn. — A 27-year-old Stamford resident was charged with driving under the influence and threatening officers after he rear-ended a cop car on Sunday, according to the Hour. Police told the Hour that a sergeant was sitting in a patrol car on Washington Street at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday when he was rear-ended by a PT Cruiser. Juvenile Charged With Stealing Car After Short Chase In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. -- A juvenile was arrested in Norwalk after a short foot chase on Tuesday and charged with stealing a car, according to police. A second platoon patrol officer observed a car on Ely Avenue on Tuesday and recognized the license plate as belonging to that of a stolen car, police said. Ridgefield Man Accused Of Shooting Teen Car Thief Arrested RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A Ridgefield man has been charged with shooting a 15-year-old girl who tried to steal his car in June, as well as a number of drug charges after police raided his home and found several pounds of marijuana, according to the Ridgefield Press.
