Suffern Police Cruisers Hit The Road With New Design SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Suffern police officers will be rolling with a little more style.The department redesigned the lettering on their older cruisers, replacing vehicles that were in "desperate need of an upgrade due to cracked and peeling letters," according to a post on the department's Facebook page. Ramapo Police Investigating Fire Eileen Court In Airmont AIRMONT, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are investigating a house fire that damaged a home on Eileen Court last week.Firefighters from the Tallman, Hillburn, Monsey, Spring Valley and Suffern fire departments rescued a few pets from the home. The owners were elsewhere at the time of the blaze, according to Ramapo police. Police officers were the first to arrive at the home shortly before 6 p.m. on April 20 and found flames shooting from the eaves of the house, according to Ramapo investigators. Ohio Man Accused Of Inappropriate Social Media Contact With Redding Teen REDDING, Conn. -- Redding police have accused an Ohio man of having inappropriate conversations and sending inappropriate images to a 15-year-old local girl via social media, according to newstimes.com. Mark Barrientes, 31, of Leipsic, Ohio, was arrested by Redding police April 20 after a 17-month investigation, according to newstimes.com, which reported he has been charged with risk of injury to a minor.
