Celebrate Mother's Day At Hastings Flea
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Hastings Flea will be celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8 with makeover giveaways, a Mother’s Day concert and unique gift offerings. The event, scheduled for 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. in the Metro North Parking Lot at 131 Southside Ave., aims to provide a special day for moms. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A construction project on the Route 8/25 connector is likely to bring some serious changes for drivers in Bridgeport in the coming months, according to the Connecticut Post.The $35 million project will replace four, 44-year-old southbound bridges over Lindley Street and Capitol Avenue and will require at least one lane at a time on Route 8/25 to be closed as authorities demolish the old bridges and replace them with the new ones, according to the Connecticut Post.
