The inaugural Races for Peace 5K Run/Walk, a fundraiser for the group, is scheduled to open the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Rockland Lake State Park (north entrance), 299 Rockland Lake Road. Two Stamford Youths Charged In Connection With Darien Home Burglary DARIEN, Conn. – Two Stamford youths were in police custody after being charged in the April 20 burglary of a Holmes Court home, Darien police said. The residents reported that electronics and cash had been taken in the burglary, according to Darien police, who soon determined that two burglars had entered through an unlocked door.
